Some signs are notices which warn you of danger. Some ask you to do something. Others ask for your help. Warned by a notice, you may fell you should not do something that you would like to do. Asked for help, you may fell like doing something for the person who has put up the notice. Some signs help you to find your way to a place, and without them you might find yourself lost in a strange town.
